Cookies

The Internet pages use cookies. These are small text files that are placed on your computer and that are saved by your browser.

Most of the cookies that we use are “session cookies”. They are used to recognize your browser when you change from one page to another during a visit. These temporarily saved cookies will be deleted automatically subsequent to the termination of your visit.

Other cookies (persistent cookies) remain stored on your end device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognise your browser upon your next visit. We use this exclusively within the scope of the user tracking by means of an analytics tool. You may specifically disable the tracking of your user behaviour by means of the analytics tool. For more information, please read the detailed explanations in section “5. Analytics tool”.

You may configure your browser in a way that you will be informed about cookies being placed and permit cookies being placed only in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or generally as well as enable the automatic deletion of the cookies when you close your browser. If you disable cookies, the functionality of this website may be restricted in the case of the session cookies described above.

Cookies that are required for performing the electronic communication process or for providing certain functions required by you will be stored in accordance with Article 6, section 1, lit. f of the GDPR. The website operator has a justified interest in the storage of cookies for providing their services free of technical errors and in an optimised manner. If other cookies (e.g. cookies for analysing your browsing behaviour) are stored, these will be covered separately in this Data Protection Declaration.

Server log files

The provider of these webpages collects and automatically stores information in server logfiles that your browser automatically submits to us. This information includes the IP address, htaccess-user (if applicable), date, time of the server request, accessed pages, protocols, status code, whether the access was successful, the amount of sent data, referrer (i.e. the page the person comes from), the used browser (user agent) and the host name.

This data will not be combined with other data sources. The basis of the data processing is Article 6, subsection 1, lit. f of the GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the purpose of fulfilling a contract or performing pre-contractual measures. If you should have more detailed questions regarding the storage of and storage period regarding the logfiles, we are able provide you with the relevant information.

Contact form

If you use the contact form to send us enquiries, the data you enter in the enquiry form including your contact details are stored by us for the purpose of processing your enquiry and dealing with follow-up questions. This data will not be passed on without your consent.

Hence, the processing of the data entered in the contact form only takes place on the basis of your consent (art. 6(1), letter a of the GDPR). You may withdraw your consent at any time by sending an informal e-mail to us. The lawfulness of the data processing measures taken prior to your withdrawal is unaffected by the withdrawal.

The data entered by you in the contact form remains with us until you request its deletion, withdraw your consent to storage or there is no longer any need to store the data (e.g. after your enquiry has been dealt with). Binding legal regulations – in particular concerning storage periods – shall remain unaffected.

If you have further questions concerning the storage of your data entered in the contact form, we are able provide you with the relevant information.

For our appointment request form, we use the standard mail function of the server in order to send the counselling request to the responsible counsellor via e-mail. Security note: We make an effort to put in place appropriate technical and organisational measures in order to protect your personal data against access by third parties. In the case of data communication by email, the protection of the transmitted data cannot be comprehensively guaranteed. Therefore we recommend to send confidential information by mail.

This website uses the open source web analytics application Matomo, which we operate on the server space we rent from our provider in Germany. Matomo uses so-called "cookies". These are text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. For this purpose, the information generated by the cookies about the use of this website is stored on a server space rented by us. The IP address is anonymized before it is stored.

The website operator Institute for Vocational Training, Labour Market and Social Policy GmbH has a justified interest in the anonymised analysis of the user behaviour in order to optimise their web services or to report in the scope of projects to the client about the use of the project website. No individual usage data will be transferred for that purpose. You may prevent the storage of cookies by means of the corresponding settings in your browser software. As technically necessary cookies will also be disabled in this way, it may be possible that you may no longer completely use all functions of this website.

Newsletter Data

If you would like to receive our newsletter, we require a valid email address as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the specified email address and that you agree to receive this newsletter. For this reason we use a double-opt-in method: In a first step users submit their e-mail adress in the subscription form on the website. Then users receive a confirmation email, where they need to confirm their wish to be added to your mailing list by clicking the link. No additional data is collected. We only use this data to send the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties.

We will, therefore, process any data you enter onto the contact form only with your consent per Art. 6 (1) (a) DSGVO. You can revoke consent to the storage of your data and email address as well as their use for sending the newsletter at any time, e.g. through the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of the newsletter. The data processed before we receive your request may still be legally processed. The data provided when registering for the newsletter will be used to distribute the newsletter until you cancel your subscription when said data will be deleted. Moreover, you can also unsubscribe from the newsletter right on our website or you can contact us using our contact details ("Contact"). Data we have stored for other purposes remain unaffected.
